During our Mom’s 9-month fight against cancer, I asked her countless times to let me do a photo shoot of her. She refused over & over, simply saying “later.” Her diagnosis was terminal, so my overwhelming feeling of “running out of time” was building up. One day after a particularly tough doctor’s appointment, I asked her for the 100th time about pictures. She again replied “later.”
Feeling desperate, I closed my eyes and quietly pleaded, “God, give me a sign.” When I opened up my eyes – BAM – the message was right there in 4 powerful words. "Mom, read what's on your shirt." She looked down and slowly said out loud:
“Don’t…wait…too…long.”
With big tears in our eyes and even bigger smiles on our faces, we took the photos you see here on this page. Our family continued embracing this way of living, making it our mission to motivate others with the profound statement: Don't Wait Too Long
